National Pet Day is a great opportunity to celebrate the love of pets with a little something extra. This is the first national day dedicated to the purchase, care, and adoption of pets for the pet-loving community.
This year’s National Pet Day is the first and only time that the Federal Trade Commission will be offering a free pet supply drive to pet owners. The drive is open to pet owners in 46 states, but most of the action will be happening in the northeast.
The FTC has been working to make pet supply stores more responsible so that pet owners can see that they’re taking good care of their pets. In the past, pet stores have been the culprits of animal cruelty by selling dogs and cats that were dumped into the trash. In response, FTC Commissioner, Edith Ramirez, has created the National Pet Safety Center, a division of the FTC, dedicated to helping pet owners make sure their pets are getting the right care.
The National Pet Safety Center is working towards getting the right pet supplies on the shelf. So if you need to send your dog or cat in for a checkup or spay or neuter, the easiest way to do it is by using contactless pet identification cards. Now you can just enter your pet’s info into the system without having to touch the pet.
And that’s not all! With the help of the National Pet Safety Center, you can use a contactless pet identification card to receive a text alert, and once the text is sent the National Pet Safety Center will take care of the rest. The National Pet Safety Center also has a secure email account where you can send your pet’s health reports, and they send the text alert through that email.
Although the National Pet Safety Center is a great resource, it’s not the only one that works. The Pet Safety Foundation works with pet owners to make pet identification cards more accessible. The National Pet Safety Center’s card can be used at grocery stores, pharmacies, pet stores, and even the National Pet Registry. In total the Foundation issued over 11 million contactless pet identification cards in the first three months of 2015, and its goal is to issue more.
I think I’ll start with what’s the best thing to do with your pet? Most people will say feed the dog the dog. That’s great, because there are many other things that can make your pet happy. If your pet doesn’t like the cat that lives with you, you can change it. If your pet doesn’t like the dog that lives with you, you can change it.
Contactless pets have a few advantages over credit cards. One, you can buy them at any retailer and there is no monthly minimum payment. Also, they don’t have to be listed on the consumer database of the National Pet Registry, so you don’t have to remember to keep your pet on the list.
If you are a pet owner, you should be more aware of the fact that many retailers are selling contactless devices, specifically those that automatically call your pet every time you walk by. This might be a great idea for you because your pet might be on holiday, and you could get him a surprise treat before he sees you again. You might even be able to get him a treat or two for free now that he knows where you are every time you walk by.
So you probably have at least one pet on the list. If you do, you should probably be asking your local pet store to send you a reminder. Not only will they be able to help you get your pet’s name on there, but they will also be able to help you find the contactless pet supply store.
