The Farmer’s Market will be held from 11 to 12 on every Wednesday and Saturday, with a special Strawberry Festival event the last week of June. Come taste what we have left after the harvest!
The Plumas County Fair is coming up on July 13th. This year, the theme for this event will be “Old Time Fun.” Join in all of the festivities and enjoy classic carnival games at the fair!
On Saturday, June 17th from 11 to 12 there will be a free workshop on how to make a quilt with all types of fabrics.
On July 13th there will be one more workshop, on how to create your own paper mache masterpiece! This is the last event for the county fair and you won’t want to miss it.

A new senior center has been built on Main Street next door to the library. It will be opening this summer so that seniors can enjoy all Plumas County has to offer as they age in place.
The Plumas County Fair is this weekend, and we hope to see you there! There are many events happening including the horse show, live music on Saturday night at the grandstand with The Valley Boys from Sacramento, a rib cookoff and more.
