Both states are in the desert, and both states have a long history of being populated by Native Americans.

texas tends to have a more relaxed mentality. Its people are generally more socially liberal and less concerned with the rules of society. Oklahoma tends to be more conservative and more concerned with the rules of society.
Oklahoma City is actually the biggest city of Oklahoma when it comes to population, with around 5 million people. It’s actually in the middle of the state in terms of population size. Texas Tech is the second largest city in Texas, with a population of 1.6 million people.

The only difference between them is that the Oklahoma City population is a little smaller, but the tech city is also on the east side of the state. So if you’re moving to Texas and you’re looking for a place to live, then Texas Tech or Oklahoma City might be a good place to consider.
