This is a great post for anyone who knows how to plan and plan in advance. It’s not like it’s an easy task. There’s a lot of data in the data sheet, some of which is important for an organization, but it’s not so easy for the organization to handle.
This is an easy one though. Just do it. If you have one area code and you need to expand it, start by adding a new area code. Then make sure that the new area code is available for all the existing area codes in your area. Then you can start work on the new area code.
So, post for those who know about this, you know what to do. You just need to decide which codes to add, which ones to delete, and where to add the new codes. And once you’ve done that, you need to add the new code to the old ones.
For a while, Google started showing your area codes in search results as if they were the names of the areas you live in. I have to stress that this is not a big problem for Google. They just use your area code as your home address.
The reason I am not answering these questions is because I am not doing a good job of explaining to you why the new code is so different than the previous ones. The new codes are pretty much the same as the old ones, but there are some differences. For the new ones, the one that was new to me in the previous one is the address, and the one that I created in my area code is the name of my house.
If you are going to set your area code to your home address, then you are going to have to have a name for it in Google. Google considers the area code, not the name of the house, to be your home address. This is why Google’s website will have a drop down for area code choices. If you have a name in your area code, then you will have to update your website to let people know that your name is on the new code.
And if you don’t get an area code yet, your website will have to do the same thing. If you are going to put your house name in Google, you have to give them the area code as well. This is a one-time deal, because when the time comes, Google will be able to see your address and the area code you put in.
In the early days of Google, if you wanted to show up at Google with a name from your neighborhood, your local phone book, or even your phone’s area code, you’d get some sort of special message. The reason it was special was because Google already knew your name and the area code. Today, you have no special status.
Your boss, your family and your friends have gotten the idea that your name is a big deal. The fact is, Google knows your name and the area code and they know how to get it back to you. But that’s not how it works.
The only way to find out if Google knows something about you is to find out the information they’ve already given you. If Google gives you an email address, it’s because you’ve already registered it. If Google gives you your name and your phone number but not your email address, then you must have already registered it and Google will be able to find it back out. Google knows everything you’ve done online.
