We don’t see eye to eye on what we are all about. I’m not trying to be an alarmist here. I just think that those areas where we are self-aware will be where we see the most improvement.

We tell stories about who we are, what we want, what we think, and how we act. It has a way of making us feel like we are making choices for ourselves, that we are making choices for ourselves, that we have chosen our own path, and we are choosing ourselves.
It’s not just the way we talk about our lives that makes us self-aware. It’s also the way we talk about our lives. We talk about our thoughts, our feelings, our actions, our preferences, our ideas, the choices we make. We tell stories about how we feel and how we have acted. It is all part of the same, self-aware process.
It is easy to forget that we are the only people who have any power over the things we do, and that our actions affect the world around us. The first step in self-awareness is to make a choice to be self-aware. I want to be self-aware because I want to be able to choose who I am. I want to be able to choose to be me. I want to be able to choose to be me without any reference points.
