I would argue that the internet is more of a reflection of the human mind and that our minds are constantly on autopilot. Every now and then we get an alert that our phone just received a text, or that we’ve just received an email or a text, and it immediately takes our mind off of the task at hand. In this case, of course, the task at hand is getting our hands to our computers.

The internet is a reflection of the way our minds think and operate. Because our minds are constantly on autopilot, our thoughts are often as random as any other. This is great for us, but it also means that it’s easy for our minds to be captured by marketers and marketers want to be able to make us feel as if we have to do this every time we visit the net.

To combat this notion, we need to make our minds more aware of the “little things” in our minds. So if you want your computer to be a little more useful, you should pay attention to the little things you type into it, the little things your mind does.

So if you’re getting a computer that’s a little too slow, you need to know a little about your mind. If you’re getting a computer that’s too slow to do the things it was designed for, you need to know a little about your mind. If you’re getting a computer that’s too slow to type, you need to know a little about your mind.

As I write this, my laptop is running a little too slow to handle a particularly difficult word-search. After I type in, “a computer thats too slow to do what it was meant to do,” the search engine quits and gives me a generic “no results found.” That’s right, the computer is too slow to do what it was meant to do.

This happens to a lot of people who type a lot. There are a lot of people who know how to type a lot, but don’t know a lot about the computer that made it possible.

We humans are a surprisingly complex bunch. We are also amazingly adaptable. We are constantly changing what does and does not work to make our lives easier. But we also are incredibly hard pressed to change our minds when we encounter people who disagree with us. I’m not a great fan of having a computer take over my day, but it happens.

A lot of the tech that makes this possible is based on the work of a guy named Fred Brooks, whose work we might call the father of “interactive fiction” (also known as “what does this mean?”), and has been making computer games for over a decade. His best known work is the original SimCity, an interactive simulation game.

You see, Brooks designed a game that allowed you to create your own city from scratch, and then make use of all of the resources that you chose to make your city self-sustaining. It was a game that was so great that it took off and spawned dozens of sequels. So Brooks got the idea for the city-building game to be played in a “virtual” environment, and that game was called SimCity.
