Happy Mothers Day is this time of year when we celebrate moms for the work they do and the joy they bring to their families. One of the biggest benefits of being a pet owner is having the unconditional love of a pet. Whether you have a dog or cat, your love is unconditional and that’s definitely a benefit.
I’m not sure if it’s because of the unconditional love people give to their pets, but it seems like pet owners spend more time with them than any other people. There’s a little known secret to this. When a pet is well-behaved, they tend to be more well-behaved than regular people.
Pets are considered a resource (like a car or a building) and as such, they have to be kept in some sort of reasonable condition to function. As a result, the majority of pet owners don’t have problems with their pets constantly needing to be fed or having accidents. In fact, the majority of pet owners don’t have problems with their pets dying unexpectedly of old age.
The problem here is that pets are not the same as animals. Animals are generally considered sentient and capable of higher consciousness than pets but still, they are not allowed to have pets. This is because pets are considered to carry the same level of responsibility and moral authority as humans. To protect their pet’s independence, pets are not allowed to have pets. This is because pets can bite, scratch, and kick, and are often more destructive than humans.
Animals are definitely allowed to have pets though. A cat can be a dog, a horse, a donkey, a camel, and a horse.
It’s also hard to avoid the conclusion that pets are, in fact, part of the universe. Like any living thing, a pet has to eat, breathe, and sleep. As a rule, dogs, cats, and other pets have the same level of consciousness as humans which is almost like saying that an alien species is part of the universe.
One of the major benefits of owning a pet is the feeling of normalcy you get with it. Most pets have some kind of human caretaker, while cats, horses, and other animals can live in the wild. When you’re a kid, you can’t really tell if a cat or a horse has a human owner. As an adult you can always tell.
While we’re on the topic of cats and horses, it’s worth noting that pets have a pretty good track record of being good for the environment and animal welfare. According to the Humane Society, pet owners spend about three times more on animal care than the rest of America combined. This is true in both urban and rural areas. In addition to the financial benefits, pets also help your local animal shelter by allowing them to keep more animals alive.
The Humane Society of the United States reports that in 2005, the total number of pets euthanized in America was 6,947, or 4% of all pets euthanized, the highest percentage of any country. Of course, it’s not just pet owners who are making a difference. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, the average cost of a veterinary visit in the United States is $1,890.
In a way, we’re just as guilty for this, because it’s just a matter of being a responsible pet owner. It’s not like we’ve been feeding stray, or even straying, animals to the local shelter, but we’re contributing to it when we adopt pets or take them in for medical care. We’re taking a stand and making a difference. We’re helping out these shelter pets and animals by making them better people as well.
