Health and Wellness: A Message from Your Future Self

You are about to take a health and wellness course. But it isn’t just any course; this is the future you talking to your past self. You want to know what they have learned so that you can be as healthy as possible for your future, right? Well then let me tell you:

I wish I knew how important sleep was! Getting more than 8 hours of sleep has been shown to help with cognitive performance, reduce stress hormones, improve mood, and much more.

The human body needs movement every day in order stay healthy! This means taking breaks at work for stretching or going on a walk during lunch time. It also means getting up from my desk periodically throughout the day instead of sitting constantly.

I wish I knew what foods were best for me. You can find a list of the healthiest food choices to make in my course!

This is just one more way that you can be mindful and take care of your body so that it will last as long as possible.
