My name is Brian and I am a hurricane recovery professional. I lost my dog, Petey, to Hurricane Harvey in Harvey-ravaged Texas in 2017. Petey is a black Labrador retriever dog that belonged to my wife. He was a part of our family since he was a puppy, but I never thought that I would lose him. I did get him back, but now I am helping other people in their hurricane recovery process.
It’s extremely rare for a dog to be able to survive a hurricane, but I was able to get Petey back to my home in Dallas, Texas. I am going to be trying to get him back to his family now. I have had a couple other dogs die in high winds and he’s the first pet I lost that was actually my dog. Petey was one of my best friends through the years, and I am very sorry that I lost him.
Petey’s family has lost their pet, but they are determined to get him back as soon as possible. And the best part is they have found a way to help make sure I get to see him whenever I want. When Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, Petey was evacuated to the shelter on the Outer Banks, which is a wonderful place to reunite pets with their owners. The shelter is a little different than other shelters, but it’s a great place to meet other dogs in similar circumstances.
And the shelter’s director, Dr. Michael Hahn, is a veterinarian by trade and knows something about pet rescue to boot. In the trailer, one of Petey’s rescuers, Dr. Ben Sorensen, is shown running through the streets of Houston to find Dr. Hahn. The trailer also makes it look like Petey has found refuge in a shelter, which is great, if you can find a shelter in your area.
It’s easy to make your life miserable while you’re busy. If you’re a homeowner dealing with the construction of your new home, you’re probably at least a little worried about the paint. So far we’ve seen that one common complaint is that it looks like something is on fire. And it would, if it were a painting. If you’re not sure, ask your contractor.
Hurricane Harvey hit the Houston area several days ago. A new video from our friends at Hurricane Harvey pet rescue ( showed a pet in a life-threatening situation. The animal’s owner, who isnt a vet, decided to use a paint sprayer to clear the way for the pet to breathe. Its a big, busy area, and the paint can easily get smeared by debris.
The video clearly shows the pet being taken away from the fire, but not how the pet got there. Its a good reminder that pets are often injured or abandoned and that it can take a lot of effort to get them to a vet. The animal itself looks fine, but its a reminder that even the best pet rescue can fail.
What happens when a hurricane comes along and you can’t get to the animals because you’re in a city? Well then the animals are probably going to die. Hurricane Harvey pet rescue centers have been popping up everywhere at the moment. While the idea sounds ridiculous, in a time of national stress, the fact is that animals are going to be in greater danger because they are more vulnerable to hurricanes. In fact, there are even shelters that let animals go ahead of a hurricane to stay warm.
There are shelters everywhere, but there are a couple of things to keep in mind before you go in to your pet rescue. First, you should always check the weather before you head down to the shelter. You might have to be there a while to get your pets, so you might want to have some food and water and some other necessities. Some shelters will be open 24 hours a day or even all day.
The second thing to keep in mind before you go in to your pet rescue is that it will most likely be raining a lot and there will be a lot of mud and sand in the shelter. If you’re going to be there that long, you might want to keep an extra pair of waders in your car.
