Tips for Living a Healthy Life:

Drink plenty of water every day – try not to drink more than one caffeinated beverage per day – Eat fresh vegetables at least twice each week – Get enough Sleep: Is vital to our body and mental state. Without it, we’re as good as dead! So make sure you get about 7 hours of sleep every single night or try taking a nap during the day if you have time. Exercise: your body needs exercise so don’t be lazy- find out what’s best for you and do it everyday! Make sure you take care of your teeth by brushing and flossing at least twice a day.

Labette Health is excited to announce our new fitness program! We’ve put together some information on it below:

Fitness Program Info:

Our program includes three parts- cardio, weight training, and stretching. Cardio helps with the burning off calories that we get from eating too many (or not enough) carbs or fat sources in our diet while also increasing how much oxygen gets into out system to help us feel better overall. Weight Training will build muscle mass, which boosts metabolism so we’ll burn more calories throughout You won’t be doing any extra work on your day off! You can stay in bed and eat donuts all day if you want, but before you start the festivities make sure to stretch out those sore muscles. Stretching is a hugely important part of fitness because it helps prepare your body for exercise!

Labette Health has been in existence for over a century. While there have obviously been many changes throughout the years, one thing that has remained unchanged is our commitment to provide excellent care and service to all of our members.

Throughout your day off, make a point of doing activities that are either relaxing or reduce the stress that’s been building all week.

As a Labette Health member, you have access to cardio equipment on the gym floor. You can also take classes or get coaching from one of our excellent personal trainers.

Weight training is an important part of everyday health and wellness for anyone who wants to be strong and fit. When weight training, your muscles work in response to resistance like pushing or pulling against gravity during what we call “free weights” exercises that include any type of barbells, dumbbells, bodyweight exercise (like pushups), kettle bells, medicine balls etc. Your central nervous system also sends signals throughout the day to help keep these muscle groups active while at rest which helps with blood circulation as well as preventing injuries by keeping all parts moving
