A memorial garden is usually a place to place an animal’s ashes. The idea is to take the ashes, place them in a special urn, and then leave it in the garden for the animals to visit.

Sometimes, pets are given proper memorials. For example, I have a cat who I adopted in the late 90’s. His ashes are in a special urn in my yard, and he’s had several memorials in the past. The memorials have all been in a variety of places – in a urn at the end of my driveway, inside the garage, on the outside of my house, and in the garden.

For a more modern example, try your hand at placing an urn in your own backyard.

One of the easiest and cheapest ways is to get a plastic urn or urn-shaped jewelry box. I bought one for about $10 at a yard sale. If you don’t have a urn, you can just put the piece of glass in the lid and fill it with water.

This is what I do. I have two urns in my yard, one that I use for urns I get every other week, and one that I only use for urns when my plants die or I need more water. The urns are about 5-7 inches deep, and I fill them with water every week. It’s really easy to do, and I make sure to have my plants watered, too.

I love the idea of using the plastic itself as the base and lid, and the fact that you can then paint the inside and make it a custom color. Although, I don’t have any plants at the moment, so the idea of using a plastic urn would have to be used on plants.

There are other ways that you can achieve the same effect, such as using a container lid and placing a plant inside of that. You can even make it look like it is a plant using some paint.

The fact that pet memorial ideas are so cheap is also the reason why I dont have any. I’m sure if you had a plastic urn and a plant inside of it you can still find a place for it on your own. You may not have the room for a full-size urn, but if you can create a boxy urn and paint it to look like a plant, you could create a memorial garden for yourself.
