I think that if your landlord or any other landlord wants to make pet friendly decisions, it should be up to them to do so. So if someone wants to live in a pet-friendly apartment, but they’re also a pet-friendly landlord, it should be up to them to make that decision.

I can understand the concern. A lot of people who are pet-friendly apartment dwellers have pets – but some of those pets are pets that are considered “harmful to others.” So if you have a pet that is not considered “harmful” to others, the pet owners will be upset when you kick the dog or cat out.
