So if someone is unable to remember your name when you call them, the brain won’t be able to use that memory to figure out what you’re going to do next.
So the first thing we can do to train our brains to remember things is to connect them. When you make a connection between two pathways, your brain goes to the pathway that connects it, and then your brain goes to that pathway as well. So the first thing a person must learn to do is to make connections between their hippocampus and the hippocampus of another person. This is called “teaching your brain to connect”.
That’s right, our brains are made to connect. Our brains are made to use our memories. In one study, people were told that they had just watched two cars crash into each other. They were asked to name each crash. A minute later, they were asked to recall the names of the two cars. The next day, they were told that they had watched two cars crash.
