I was going to write a blog post about how to make your own teepee pet tent but I finally found a video tutorial online which I decided to share. I don’t have the patience to cut up an actual teepee, so I decided to use a cardboard box and a cardboard box lid. (I have a box of these handy at home anyway.) I used some recycled paper and some of my brother’s spare tire and some felt from fabric scraps.
After I cut out the teepee, I filled the box with the felt and the cardboard. I then painted it with paint from my paint tray. The next step was to wrap the felt around the edges and sew a bit to the top of the box. I used some tape to help me attach the lid on the box. I also used some of my brother’s spare tire to make the top and the bottom of the box stronger.
I tried several different colors and materials and kept coming back to my homemade wood teepee. The paint did an excellent job on the inside of the box since the outside is a bit bare. I found the best color on my first pass to be a dark brown.
I decided to go with a darker brown since it seemed to be the best color for the inside of the box. I also used my extra spare tire to make the top and bottom of the box stronger.
I don’t know if I would call this a more expensive teepee, but it’s definitely a much more comfortable and interesting teepee that I like. I definitely recommend it.
No, I made this teepee for my cat. It’s not very big but if you can make a teepee that doesn’t look like a teepee, then you may have a great pet project.
The bottom of the teepee is an all-in-one toy bag with the top half of the box in it. The top of the box is a water bottle, a water bowl, and a water filter. Everything is connected to the water bottle through a small hose and a filter.
I love the shape of the teepee. It is very sturdy and not too girly. It also happens to be very good at keeping the cat company.
All the parts have a very sleek look, so it looks as good as it possibly can. I may have to try this one on my own cat.
I’ve been told it is also very good at keeping the dog company.
