Conclusion : The Latest News from Coosa Valley – coosa valley news
On the heel of a disappointing football season, Coosa Valley has rallied with an incredible start to their baseball campaign. The Rattlers have four wins and just one loss in five games so far this season.
“It’s been really fun,” said senior catcher Joe Kelly about starting off strong on the diamond. “We’ve played well, so that’s what we’re looking for.”
“We’re trying to get back on track,” said junior pitcher Justin Davis. “I think the coaches are doing a really good job of just maintaining us as players and keeping our heads up.”
Davis is one of three excellent pitchers in the Rattlers’ rotation this season. Along with Davis and senior Tyler Womack, sophomore Drew McDaniel has been solid in his first three starts of the season, posting a 0.00 ERA in 12 innings pitched while allowing just two hits and striking out 14 batters.
