If you’ve ever been asked to do your pet’s grooming, you know that it is a very involved endeavor. You may even get a pet groomer who will come to your home and give you a hand. The process, however, is very time-consuming, and there are many variables to consider.
My husband has a pet, and the first time he went to get a hair cut, he was so flustered that he ended up getting a haircut from a man who had an electric razor. The next time we were getting the cats groomed, we were so nervous that we ended up having a man come to our house in a truck with a gas generator and a hose. The man was wearing all black and walking very slowly, with a very deliberate manner.
The problem is we don’t know how much time these people are going to spend with us.
The “groomer” in question is a tip pet groomer. These folks are usually the ones who fix up pet hair with a special solution, and only take a cut once a week. So yes, they can be a little rough around the edges, and they can be a little obsessive, but I think it’s worth it. They are also good people and don’t always do what is best for their animals, so it’s often hard to judge them.
The groomers have a hard time judging these people. It is rare to see a tip pet groomer with a clean cut, and the ones with a messy one generally have a very long waiting list. That said, we are working with a pretty decent group of tip pet groomers, and they are very nice people who will try their very best to please their dog.
The tip pet groomers we’ve worked with are very good people (and the only reason I’d recommend anyone to work with us is that they are) and they are also pretty good dogs. They like to get their nails trimmed, they do clean up after themselves, and they tend to get along with most of their companions.
