USF Student Health Services is a service of the University of South Florida. USF SHS provides a variety of medical, mental health and wellness services to students and their dependents at no charge. Dependant Coverage: Dependent children under age 18 who are not eligible for Medicaid coverage will be offered fee-for-service treatment based on us f fees for families.

Insurance: USF SHS accepts most major insurance plans and has an on-site billing staff to help you with the various paperwork that is part of filing a claim. Accepting new patients: Yes, if they are seen by one of usf’s providers.

The USF Student Health Services provides students with health care, information on how to maintain their own good health and safety, referrals for medical services not available at the campus center, immunizations and laboratory tests.

Insurance Coverage*: All USF employees are eligible for student insurance through Aet na Student Health. ?Insurance coverage is dependent on your date of hire or when you become eligible for benefits, so be sure to visit usfhealthinsurance.com for details.

Providers: USF has network providers close by that can provide care within short notice in urgent medical situations.?

Student Rights and Responsibilities*: We strive to maintain a caring environment where students’ rights are respected and their responsibilities honored.? This includes the right to confidentiality with regard to treatment records; it also means that if you are injured while at work or class, we will help ensure all appropriate steps are taken (even involving police) – even if this means missing school!
