Nextech wireless has been my new favorite phone for years. I’m a huge fan of their products and have tried them out in a number of different ways over the years. I love being able to charge my phone on a timer, and I love being able to have that second screen on my phone.
Nextech’s new wireless technology has a very convenient feature that my dad will tell you about. It has a built-in “power meter” that displays how much power on your phone is consuming at any given time. You can set a timer, for example, to charge your phone for 15 minutes per device. Then when you’re done, you just need to unplug the phone from the charger and the power meter will tell you how much power you used.
Nextechs product is a smart charger that lets you charge at least two devices simultaneously. It can be used a smartphone, tablet, or laptop, for example, and can charge at speeds of up to 500 mA.
Nextech is based in Hong Kong and is known for its power meters. You can buy them for $49.99, but the ones you’ll see in the video I just linked are priced at $79.99.
It’s a bit sad to see that Nextech hasn’t yet gotten into wireless charging, but I was glad to see they were starting to build the market. I think their product will be a better fit for a lot of people who want to charge up their phones, but I’m sure it was a little too limited in some ways for many people to be interested.
The good news is that Nextech has a partnership with the Hong Kong Government that will allow them to buy the power meters for a small fee. This should allow them to make wireless charging a common (and cheap, because it’s not like these power meters are going to be expensive to replace) feature for some products.
If you’re looking for a good wireless power supply, you should probably check out the power supply from Nextech. They have a wide range of products with both 12V and 24V, with a variety of wattage and power levels. They have a variety of power supplies that are good enough for most people but not great enough to be a good power supply.
Nextech has not actually been known to have sold any of their products. I just checked out the site. They have a wide range of products, but they are also a bit expensive. I have a $65 Nextech power supply and I use it all the time. No complaints here.
The only issue I have with this is that if you are not using a 24V supply, then you will not be able to plug in an 18V supply in. So it would be best for people to buy a 24V supply and plug it in with a 24V power supply.
In addition to the power supply, Nextech also has a product of their own. They sell a 120-volt inverter that you can use for any power supply.
