I’ve found that the most effective way for people to deal with being out of sorts is to simply be quiet. Quieter than being on edge or going off on a tangent, which is what can happen when you get upset. I’ve found that it’s best to remain still in quietness, with most people, that is.
I know, I know. This is a topic that people have been talking about way too much lately. I don’t know about you, but I prefer to talk. The idea that being quiet can help you be yourself is just the most common one. And the fact that quietness is something that has proven to help people manage their stress also proves that it is a common trait.
That said, there are times when we are in a noisy environment where being quiet is the only way to be still. For most of us, it is especially true when we are stressed out, especially if we have a lot of work to do and a lot of things to take care of. It can be a lot of fun to stay silent, but it can also make you feel better to just be still.

We have found that being mindful of our breath has been proven to help people relax. It seems like a good idea, but it also seems like a super-useful way to manage stress. So if I don’t breathe in and out properly, I feel like I’m not breathing and I end up breathing a lot harder. So I am trying to do that. That is the reason I am doing yoga. So I am trying to be mindful.
I have a lot of my own ideas about what a mindful existence is. For instance, I do a lot of yoga, which has been shown in a lot of scientific studies to improve the quality of our breathing. I’d never taken a selfie before, and I was totally aware that it’s a bit of a weird thing to do.
