skyler gisondo’s new book, “Everything I Know,” is one of my favorite books of 2018. I find her insight on how to be in the present by taking the time to read each day and to stop, reflect on why you’re doing what you’re doing, and then take those reflections into action.
When I met a new guy from my past that we both had worked with before, we both did exactly the same thing. I knew that the main character had seen the same scene, that he was trying to figure out why the game was happening and how he was doing it. We both thought this was a good shot at the game, but we didn’t know why the game was happening.
It’s something that is very relevant to our lives, and something that we all need to do and do well. When we focus on something so intensely, we rarely get to the rest of it. We get distracted by the focus.
