The digital revolution has done for most of the last century what it did for agriculture, the electric toothbrush, and the teething ring. I think we will see the same for electronics.
We may not be getting the new tech electronics you want, but we are getting a lot of really cool tech electronics that we can use to create some of the coolest new gadgets we can imagine today.
I think there are more than enough cool gadgets for any of us to have a little shop on our desktop. And if you are going to build a new laptop, you need a new keyboard, a new mouse, a new webcam, and maybe a new video camera. But I think we will be seeing a lot of nice video cameras, a cool new keyboard, and maybe even a new webcam in the next few years.
A lot of the cool gadgets we talk about right now are computer-based devices. A lot of them actually do more than that though. For example, they can be used for gaming, surveillance, or just to simply see what other gadgets are out there. But a lot of them are also a lot of fun. Some are just plain cool. Some, like the video camera we hear about today, can be used as surveillance devices too.
The video camera we hear about today actually can be used to create a lot of cool effects in games, whether it be the awesome effect that makes you look like you actually have a mustache, or the cool effects that make your face look more realistic. In just a few years video cameras will be everywhere.
