The bestars are named after the most famous horseman of all time. The greatest warrior of each era was considered worthy of the honor and the horses were ridden at the head of their respective armies. The term “bestar” refers to the honor one bestows on a warrior.
We know from several of the bestars in the game that they had a lot of honor and glory.
So that’s one way to think about it. But we can also consider it as being a metaphor for the honor that we give to those who have served us in some way. In the game, there is a class system that awards you a “bestar” for every year of your life. And as you may know, your “bestar” is your most-favored mount. So it’s a little weird that, like Colt, you can still ride a horse.
Horses are one of the few things I’ve been able to ride in the game, but I have to say, I’ve never once been able to ride a horse well. I just can’t get my legs to cooperate. Maybe thats the issue with horses in the game. They can be surprisingly difficult to control and maneuver.
I guess its kind of like your best friend. They can be a bit weirdly close and that can cause conflict. I was trying to get my best friend to ride my horse and he just doesn’t want to. He wants to be his own horse, and that just isnt going to happen.
That’s a whole different thing. I guess we could be talking the best friend syndrome. The best friend you have is someone you trust very closely, and that person will always be there for you no matter what. But the worst thing that can happen to you is that you get your best friend killed, and they die in the middle of a game.
Yeah, and that’s exactly what happened to us. The first time we played Bestar we were both in our late teens, and we were riding horses. We were in the middle of a game and just needed a moment, but then one of the horses went down and the other one stepped on it. In fact, we had a three-way, and we were both still playing at the time.
Bestar has a great community of players, so our team was able to bring an issue to their attention, and the team decided to put us on the front page of the bestar forums (so we’re in the most popular board in the game, so we get the most attention) and give us a shout out. We were so pleased with the attention we were getting that we did a lot to improve our server performance and speed up our lag.
We had a lot of fun, and have a lot of ideas of what we can do to make our server more responsive and faster.
