Carin leon is a food blogger, blogger, social media expert, and author of the book, Eat This: Recipes from The Social Kitchen. She has one of the highest ratings on Amazon so far, so I asked her if I could interview her about her blog. She agreed, so we talked.
Hello Carin! So tell me a little bit about yourself and what you do.
I’m a food blogger. I started my blog in August 2012 after leaving a career in public relations to pursue a career in food. I’ve been blogging since 2010, and I started the blog because I have a lot of recipes I want to share with the world.
At the moment, you run a food blog.
Yes, I run a food blog. I started it in 2010, and since then I’ve worked with some companies and written blog posts for them, but I am now starting to focus more on the community aspect of my blog. I started blogging because I love cooking. I’m also interested in fitness, and I want to share my recipes with the community.
Well, my blog looks a lot like mine. So why should you follow me? I am the author of carin leon, a new book that focuses on healthy eating and fitness. You can find the book at www.carlleenleon.com.
I am also the author of a book about fitness (www.carleenleon.com/fitness), and a book about vegan cooking (www.carleenleon.com/vegan).
And I also run a fitness blog at www.carleenleon.com/fitness.
Carin leon lives and works in New York City. She blogs at carleenleon.com, but her personal site is www.carlleenleon.com.
Carin is a self-described “healthy eater“, but she also works out, writes, and teaches about nutrition. This means that her blog is one of my favorite things to read. She’s got great advice on how to eat well and stay fit in your own home, and I know I’ll be reading it too.
