It is good for dogs, cats, horses, and other warm-blooded creatures. It’s also good for humans because it has a great consistency that doesn’t leave a sticky residue on the skin. It has the added benefit of being non-irritating and has a gentle, non-irritating scent.
Because these vitamins are so good for humans, you’d think that they’d be great for pets. But they’re not. The reason why is because the vitamin E in pet sunscreen is the same as the vitamin E in human skin. So if you’re pet is allergic to human skin, you’re already going to have a problem. But for humans it’s not like they have to eat it.

Although, I have to say it, its actually kind of gross for a cat to get the epi sunscreen. It is a bit thick and really does not absorb well, so when the cat jumps into my bed he starts scratching and getting his paws wet. When I give him a few minutes to absorb it, he just gives up and goes back to scratching. I dont know why, but this seems a bit unfair to an animal that is supposed to be so sensitive.
