Fiction Mania is a short story I wrote about the joy and difficulty of trying to define a good novel. I’m not a huge writer, but I like the idea that a novel is hard to define. I’m not saying that a good novel is hard to define, I’m saying that the definition is hard. You can’t just say, “A novel is hard, so you should write a novel.
For me, a good novel has to have three things: a beginning, a middle, and an end. A good novel is hard, but the definition of a good novel is hard.
This story is about a schoolboy who was sent into a strange town to escape a mysterious stranger. The story begins with a very small boy named Bob, who is about to pass away, and then he is sent outside while the stranger is trying to escape. The story ends when the stranger is defeated by the stranger, who is now dead. Once the stranger is defeated, the story ends with the end of the story.
Fictionmania is, in essence, a story about a boy and a girl who are in love but who cannot live together because they are different. The story begins on a snowy cold night, and the boy has a dream that he is not going to wake up from, and there is a girl in the dream, but she is not him. They try to find the girl, but they are unable to track her down because they are too late.
The story is told in a way that is not as heavy-handed as, say, a “fantasy novel.” At least, not as heavy-handed as a “novel.” The fact that the story and its characters are presented in an easy-to-read, yet still complex manner is what makes it more unique to fiction than any other game in the genre. For one, you can easily get lost in the story and lose yourself.
In the game’s story, the characters’ past is shown in a very realistic manner. The events that happen before the main story are so well-written that you can’t help but lose yourself in the story. After the main story is over, you are free to go back to the book to get the context.
Fictionmania is actually a game. Sure, it’s more like a movie than a game, but it’s not a game in the sense that you play it to get to the end of the story. Instead you play it to get to the beginning of the story. Once you reach the end, you can go back and read the book.
Fictionmania is definitely a game. You can play through it from start to finish, but you would need to keep the book handy for reference. Not only that, but you would need the book to complete the game. Which is a bit like being blind and living a life of crime.
A game in the sense that its a game in that you complete it. You play it to get to the end. Once you finish, you can read the book.
