I used to think that I was one of those women who only had ‘butts’. But now, I realize it really is all over. From the first time that I saw a girl, I knew she was my girl. The first time that I saw a guy that I didn’t know, I’d just be like “Man, that’s my best friend.
Like many people, I have a hard time separating the girl in my life from the girl that I just met. I have been single for quite a while. I’m not sure why, but one of the biggest things that I’ve tried to do is try to put myself in situations where I’m more likely to feel like I’m in a relationship.
I think part of the problem is that girls are like this “I’ll give you a good time, then you’ll give me a bad time.” thing. And I think, well actually… that’s a really bad idea. I think there’s a lot of stuff out there about how we just need to get good at the good times. Like, we need to get better at ignoring the bad times.
I think this is an important thing to keep in mind. So that when we see or hear of a good time, we are less likely to get stuck in it. We can have a good time, but if we don’t acknowledge that we might be in a bad time, we just go out and we see people we know.
And when we do get stuck in bad times, we can remind ourselves of how awesome it is to have a good time. The problem comes when we get stuck in the wrong time. We can either ignore this advice or we can try to change our bad times into better. By remembering that it is possible to have good and bad times, we can have a better time than we used to have. Remember, sometimes you can get stuck in bad times.
