The “GM Tech Center” is a new construction home that has been on the market for nearly a year. I think the biggest misconception about a new construction home is that they have never been painted before. This is not the case. In the summer time, you never know what colors will work best for your home.
Myself and my wife were lucky enough to have a new home painted during our recent construction phase. There were a few things that surprised us though. For one, it was a lot brighter than our old house. That can be a good thing if you have a large space that you are redoing, but it was a lot brighter than our old house. Also, the finish on my wife’s cabinets was a lot better than the others that I bought.
I’m sure you’ve heard of paint color theory before, but I’ve never heard of that being applied to paint. The idea is that you should have a basic understanding of how the colors you choose for your home will affect your home’s appearance and, in turn, how attractive it will be to potential buyers. The gist is that you want to paint your home for a reason. This reason could be you want to give your home a new look or a new color. This reason may also be the color you chose for your bathroom or kitchen for some reason. You can do a lot with your paint color, but the important thing is to have a general idea of how it will look when applied.
Let’s talk about the basics of what color theory is. At the very least, you want to know what your base color should be so you can make sure you’re going in the right direction. It’s important to note that there are many factors that affect the overall look of your color. So if you really want a particular room to look like a certain color you can’t go too wrong with a certain color, but the overall effect and overall look is what you should focus on.
The actual paint is the most difficult of the three colors to select. It’s actually fairly easy. The color you choose should match the base color of your home. The base color should be the lightest color in your home that should work well in your room. This might seem obvious, but it can be a bit of a shock to find out your base color can be quite different from the lightest color around.
If you’re having trouble picking a paint color, you can always try taking a look at your surroundings. The color you choose will be more visible in the room you chose it in if it’s the same color in your surroundings. A lot of times the darker the room, the easier it will be to choose a color that matches it. Think of it as painting a room in front of your house.
This does not mean you can’t alter the color of your bedroom wall color to match that of your living room. Just be sure you know the color of your bedroom wall color before you paint it (you can find out by looking at a picture in your room).
I’m sure gm tech center have done a great job of painting their bedroom walls the same color as their living room walls by now. There may be a slight difference in the actual color, but not much.
You may want to keep the walls of your room the same colors so as you don’t confuse your own memories with the color of the wall.
