After spending the day in a high-rise building in the Houston, TX area, I was amazed at how the weather in Houston, Texas is different from that of my hometown, Kilen, Ireland. I had never experienced rain so cold, so I decided to leave my apartment and go out on the balcony to enjoy the view. I stood there for several minutes, just looking out the window, and then I heard a woman singing a song I was never able to hear before.
This woman was singing a very sad song. It was so sad that I couldn’t believe how sad it was until I found out that she was actually a singer singing a song from the original Star Wars movie.

When it starts to rain in Kilen, it only lasts for about a half hour before it starts drizzling and the rain is even colder than Kilen’s. The rain, however, seems to be much more effective than Kilen’s own weather at cooling things down.

Theres a constant, slow motion that is created by the air rushing in and the water rushing out. If you try to hold on to the sides of the balloon, you will be pulled out of the water. Theres no gravity either, but its still a ball.
One of the big problems with water balloons is that the water tends to stay in the balloon instead of being pulled out and out. I hate when this happens. The water in my water balloon will be in the balloon, but I’ll never be able to get it out. This is why I was so excited when I heard of the idea of a weather balloon. I could watch the weather balloon rise and fall in slow motion, and I could even control the weather.

I would much rather take one of these balloons to the desert and watch the desert change, but I think its a great idea for those who will probably never do this.
