I have a cat named Poppy. He’s a rescue from a shelter and he’s a sweet, sweet cat. One day, I just saw him. I was walking through the parking lot and he was standing in the middle of the road. I stopped and looked and I just fell in love with him. He had a beautiful tail and he was playing with the other three cats. I couldn’t believe it. I thought how cute he was.
As it turns out, Poppy is actually a cat. He’s a female cat with a rare genetic disorder. She doesn’t actually have to get vaccinated, but she’s allergic to some commonly used vaccines, so she’s been given a special vaccine against a certain virus that has been shown to be fatal to cats. For Poppy, it has been a real life nightmare trying to find a doctor who will give her the vaccine. She’s pretty much just being a patient right now.
I would have thought it would be, at the very least, a lot nicer to have a pet to love instead of being a patient. The sad thing is that we’ve been giving Poppy the special vaccine for the last three years now, and shes made her life miserable. If you like cats, you can find a vet that will give you an injection of the vaccine.
The good news is that there are various clinics that will do the injection for a small fee. Shes a bit too young for Poppy to be the only one who will have the injection on time, but she can go in on a schedule. She can also find a doctor willing to do the injection.
Poppy is clearly the most annoying, though the other two are fine. She still keeps getting stuck in a vaccum and not knowing why, but shes not in the way of being a nuisance. If she didnt get vaccinated, she might be a bit more annoying. She doesn’t have a very good memory though.
Poppy is not always annoying though. Sometimes she helps you find a doctor willing to do the injection and she might even help you not get stuck in the vaccum.
For example, if you’re having your appendix removed, you should go see a doctor. It’s very important that that doctor knows exactly what you’re allergic to and how to get it treated. However, Poppy has a lot of trouble remembering things, so it’s important to pay attention to her at all times.
Yeah, she might help you find a doctor but at the same time, she is a dog. So even though she might be helping you find a doctor, she is also probably one of those annoying little dogs who will just sit there and watch you do all the stuff that a doctor would do.
