The national shelter pet day is organized by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and is celebrated every year on National Pet Day. It is an opportunity for pet owners and pet professionals to come together to celebrate and support the work of ASPCA and their shelter partners. The day is always held on the same day as National Pet Day.
I get it. National Pet Day is a big deal. I mean, I know that. It’s just that I don’t agree with it.
National Pet Day is only a week away, and now is the perfect time to take in the fact that no pets are allowed in National Shelter Pet Day, and that we all have to make a conscious effort to not pet our dogs and cats.
National Shelter Pet Day is a big deal because it is a federal holiday and we all have to respect it. For example, in 2015, a total of 2,132 dogs and cats were euthanized. Now, that’s a lot of dogs and cats. And the fact is, if we don’t help out our fellow pet-owners and pet professionals in getting our pets the help they need to recover, we’re not helping out at all.
Pets are an important part of our lives. We rely on them for everything from our children to our dogs and cats to our homes. There is a big difference between caring for and being cared for, and we should never forget that. That said however, a lot of people have pets that are a lot more vulnerable to neglect and abuse than other pets, and this is one of the reasons why shelters are popping up and why we should do more to help our fellow pet-owners.
It’s a national shelter pet day where we let thousands of pet-owners get their paws on a special day to help get them back to their homes after disaster. The day is held on the 4th of the month and every month for the next six months. We will be having our national shelter pet day where we will be collecting donations in order to help pets in need.

We are so excited to be here, because our pets are so important to our families and we are so lucky to have them. We would love to see them all together and get to know what they all have to go through.

We want to see them all together all of the time, but with the advent of Pet Insurance, we’ll only get to see them if they’re at least 1 year old. What a great way to give back to our pets all of the love we can give them.
