The tech industry in California is well-versed in Silicon Valley and has its own culture, while the tech industry in North Carolina is more laid-back (or hippie-ish), which has led to a lot of “trolling” online, especially in the tech community.
I’m a huge fan of the tech industry in North Carolina. The region is the home of major companies like Apple, Facebook, and Google, which have created their own small communities of tech nerds that are more like families than most places. The state has some of the best tech schools and has even more industry buzz than we have in the East Coast. There are also a lot of great tech companies in the area, most notably the big names like Apple, Microsoft, and Google.
So why not Virginia? Afterall, they have the same tech companies, and they have the same attitude. Apple and Google are just two of the companies that have already created their own communities of tech nerds.

The same computer that I use has a keyboard, mouse, and mousepad like that of my best friend who lives in North Carolina. The software I use is also a cross-platform Windows application. But the hardware for my computer is a different brand.
The same thing goes for our tech, our software, and our hardware. We both have high-end Apple laptops, and we both have high-resolution monitors to the best of our abilities. But somehow we are both on a different level. Our laptops do not have the same keyboard, mouse, and mousepad as each other. Our software, our software, our apps, and all our hardware are different.
The same goes for our computer. We each have an iMac, and we each have an iMac and an iMac Pro. But we each have different hardware and different software. We each have different apps and different software, and we each have slightly different hardware.
