I know you’ve heard of these quotes before, but I’m just going to share them with everyone. I’m sure they’ll be of some use to you and perhaps even enlighten you.
A lot of people have asked me if I think that pets are animals. I have two reasons for saying no. First, I don’t think that dogs and cats are animals. I think they are in the same category as plants and even robots. Second, I think their relationship with their humans is very different from ours. On the other hand, you really shouldn’t choose a home without some sort of animal in it. Pets (and especially dog/cat) should be treated with respect.
It’s hard to argue that pets should be treated with little respect when the animal is used for breeding and raising as a pet. To be a true companion to your pet you should give your pet a proper home, a proper upbringing, and a proper exercise routine. Your pet needs to have a place to live, one that you know is going to provide them with the best possible environment for their health and well-being. It’s really hard to argue that pet cats are anything but animals.
The problem is that pets have been bred into this behavior. While some people may believe that it is cruel to take a human life, the truth is that it has been bred into us since the beginning. We’ve always been taught that pets should be kept indoors, that they should never be left outside unless it’s absolutely necessary, that they should be kept in cages for a reason. The human race is no different.
I know that cats can be great pets, that they are extremely affectionate and love their owners unconditionally, but that doesn’t make them inherently better than any other animal. Just because a cat has been bred to be affectionate doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t be treated with respect.
The pet industry is very much a black hole, so we’ve often had to rely on other means (pet adoption, word of mouth) to help us find homes for our pets. Recently, one local adoption center in Texas has decided to take a different approach.
The center in question is located in San Marcos, Texas. Their website explains that they were contacted by a family that wanted to find a companion for their four-month-old son. The family was told that the local shelters would be able to help them get a dog, or at least some kind of pet. However, the shelters are currently closed for the evening, so the family decided to take matters into their own hands.
The family took their dog to a local pet adoption center and picked out a puppy based on the amount of time that they had spent playing with the dog on a regular basis. Once they had the puppy, the family went through the adoption process with the shelter. The adoption center was able to pick the puppy out with no problem. However, the two adopters’ homes were not in the same zip code.
It seems that this is an ongoing issue that a lot of pet shelters are having to deal with. In the first couple of years since the shelters opened, the number of adoptions has plummeted. The reason for this is that they don’t want to deal with the issue because they don’t want to end up with a pet that is not only a bad person, but also a poor person. It’s much easier to find good homes for them.
This is in no way a complaint. It is simply an observation, and a very telling one. In the first couple of years since shelters started, the number of adoptions has plummeted.
