I have been asked by many people why I have this blog. I have many reasons why I have this blog. One reason is because I have always wanted to help people. Another reason is because I want to spread the word that there is a better way to help people. This blog is also a way to document my experiences with veterinary medicine and my research around the best way for pets to live their lives.
I am not your typical veterinary tech. I have a deep and intense interest in the science of animal behavior, and I have spent countless hours in various settings observing human behavior from a variety of perspectives.
I work at a veterinary hospital where the majority of my time is spent treating seriously ill pets. I also work at a research facility where I help to develop new treatments, improve existing ones, and explore the limits of what treatments can achieve. Sometimes we have to tell people to let their pets “self euthanize” in order to prevent them from spending too long in purgatory.
A pet’s quality of life is a lot more complicated than that, although a vet or researcher at a research facility probably has more control over pet death rates. In San Diego, pet owners have a few weeks to choose whether or not to euthanize their pets, and they can choose whether or not to carry out the procedure in private. That’s in part because the state doesn’t have a law against euthanasia.
The other reason the state doesnt have such a law is because pet owners in California are allowed to carry out the euthanasia themselves at home. This is why I’m sure you are sitting there, probably thinking to yourself, “Oh, but how will I take all the paperwork?” Well, you don’t. It’s a common situation that happens at home.
You can bring your pet to a vet and have them do an “excision” (or whatever they call it) to cut the pet’s head off. That’s what pet owners do, although they usually do this in a public area. Your only issue is that you are more likely to have to deal with your pet’s blood and feces getting on you.
But if you are bringing your pet to a veterinary clinic, they will probably look at you like you are nuts. They may even give you an expensive blood test to find out if you are a hemophiliac. But hey, there are other ways to do it too. Your pet could just be put to sleep and then you can dispose of the remains. I know which one I would have first thought of.
I don’t know about your pet, but you are dealing with a blood-sucking parasite yourself. If your pet gets exposed to your blood, they can transmit that to your dog or cat and cause them not to poop, and not to pee, which can also happen. Pet owners who take a blood test are less likely to pass the disease to their pets so they are more likely to pass it to others.
In short, if your pet gets infected, you will have to deal with the death of your pet. It will be the same as getting a blood test and it will take time. If your pet is truly sick and getting worse, you will have to go to the vet and it will take longer. If your pet is just a small, cute animal, you can take him to the vet and it will be much faster.
The sad part is that the whole Pet Health Insurance thing is overblown. In short, it’s not that easy to get pet health insurance because the system is flawed. Basically, you go to your doctor, go into the exam room, and a person at the doctor’s office will take care of your pet. The doctors don’t have to spend their time researching the condition of your pet so they can diagnose it and get it treated.
