I’ve been using my cat’s “pet kit” for several years now, and I think it’s such a good idea that it’s become a household item in and of itself.
For all the pet kits out there, in my experience there are a few bad ones. The most obvious ones are the ones that are marketed to kids as the “new toy”. They don’t actually provide much utility, save for the fact that you can make them do things (I love that one, if you can use the word “can” in this context).
Well, I did say I was a fan of the pet kit, but I don’t think I made that clear. The main reason I said I love it, is because I actually enjoy taking care of my cats. To do this I need a lot of space, so I can do things like get them their medication, clean their litter boxes, and feed them.
Pets, in all their incarnations, have been used as an escape from stress, and from boredom. This was the case for a lot of the pets that came through my childhood, and the ones that I have now. There is a reason that they are called dogs, or cats, or horses. I dont know what that is, but it’s a big word.
I love animals in general, but my cats are my top dog. They are my kids. So I love taking care of them. But I also love being able to pick out a new one when they get old and can no longer be adopted. We got a couple of new ones last year, and I love that I can put them in a box and bring them to the vet and say “This is my new pet. He’s in his box.

As it turns out, the cat in question is a German Shepherd named Dizzy. The first time we saw her she was a cute little thing in her own right, but the second time we saw her she got a little too clingy. We tried to adopt her twice, but she was too clingy at first and we couldn’t figure out why. We finally decided to give her a break and give her a go for a while and she’s been great.
