One of the most frustrating aspects of being a pet parent is that pet parents can feel like they don’t have a choice, but they do. There are a lot of places to make a difference in people’s lives, but pets are just not one of them. It’s a tough job, but the rewards are tremendous.
Pet parents can be a tough job. They can be a difficult job to do if they aren’t doing what they should be doing. That said, the pet parents who are doing the best job they can with their pups are often the best ones. There are a lot of pet parent friends out there who are doing a great job, so let’s all keep a positive attitude and let them know that they aren’t alone.
The pet parents are awesome. They love their pets and they love their pups. But they have to get their dogs to a good home, and I wouldnt expect a pet parent to do things by themselves.
That said, there are some pet parents who are doing a great job and have done so for years. They are doing what they are supposed to be doing. There are also some pet parents who are not doing a good job and have done so for years. For example, I have a cat who, despite having been trained and given her shots for a year, still does not have her shots.
The most common pet parent mistakes are over-feeding your dog, giving your dog a lot of food (and a lot of toys), and not keeping your dog on a strict schedule. There are plenty of pet parents who are doing a great job, but some are not.
I had the pleasure of pet sitting for this dog in the last few years. The thing is, pet parents don’t necessarily know what to do. I told a dog parent that my dog would be fine with two or three treats, and he said, “Nope. Just two.” That was fine, but I knew we had a dog who needed a complete and total food and a complete and total schedule.
I can’t tell you how many times my dog has asked me, “Mom, why can’t I just have one bowl of dog food and one bowl of water?” And I have had to say, “Because you have to keep two separate bowls, and you have to mix it together. That’s how you know you have a dog who truly needs that.
We’ve all been there at one point or another. When we were kids, we were too lazy to plan ahead and just had to buy a box of dog food and a bottle of water and dump them all in a bag and dump them in the car. We had to be sure to carry a couple of extra boxes, a bag, and a container of water with us. Eventually we moved along and bought a dog.
Dog food is a great reminder that you have to be prepared for when you buy food for your dog. You can’t just throw something into a bag and take it out of the bag with you and expect it to be the same. Dogs need to be fed regularly (and in proper quantities) to keep them happy and healthy.
The pet parents we had to deal with were some nasty little creatures. We were supposed to give them their food, but instead, every time they opened their mouths our food fell out and splattered all over. They were so small and squirmy we couldn’t even get the food out of them. We also had to bring a bag of food every day. The pet parents were so skittish that we had to give them water in small tiny bottles.
