I love air fresheners. I know, I know. But I also don’t want to get sick of their smell.
Pet safe air fresheners are so called because they repel germs and smells and make you feel like you are protected from all of the icky stuff that’s out there. That may sound silly, but if you have been living in a house full of germs, it can be especially unpleasant to be constantly worrying about them. Air fresheners are great because they help you feel safe and protected, and also because you can use them all the time.
Air fresheners are so very popular because they can be used in every room of your house. In fact, they are especially good in bathrooms and kitchens because they can help ward off the dreaded germs that live in those places. However, the problem is that not all air fresheners are created equal. Some of these cheap air fresheners are really bad, but some are so good that you just cant stop smelling them.
One of the main reasons that air fresheners are so popular is that they are very affordable. Many of them use natural agents such as essential oils or plants that contain natural fragrances. As long as you don’t have allergies, you can use air fresheners in all sorts of places throughout your house.
There are a few problems with this. One is that you’re not using a natural source to make your air freshener. You’re not using a plant or an essential oil. Instead, you’re using an artificial scent like chemicals that release from air freshener dispensers. This is a real problem, especially if you have pets that can smell chemical smells. Secondly, air fresheners that contain chemicals can sometimes be very irritating to your pets.
This is a problem because most natural air fresheners are made with ingredients that are very safe for pets like pet deodorants and some natural air fresheners are made with essential oils like lavender. They don’t have to be harmful to your pets, but they do require you to use very caution when using the air freshener.
This one is an example of an essential oil air freshener made with lavender. We found something similar on Amazon that does a great job of removing smells and is very safe for pets.
The problem is that lavender is a very powerful scent that can be very overwhelming to animals, especially dogs if they are used to it. We have heard of people even having to throw away lavender essential oils as a result of this. One of our pet-savvy friends told us that he would never use an essential oil air freshener again because of the smell.
In this case, it’s not really an essential oil air freshener, but rather a spray for dogs that releases an aroma very similar to lavender. The spray is meant to be used as a spray-on and not in a dog’s food bowl.
Lavender is a very common ingredient in essential oils for aromatherapy. Not just any lavender, but one that has been specifically bred to smell like lavender.
