This is a perfect example of how I can become obsessed with a topic and how the more I know about it, the more I like it. I’m obsessed with tech and I’m also obsessed with Texas Tech football. I always catch myself going into a state of frenzy over the game so I can make jokes about it.
I’m probably obsessed with texas tech because I’m also obsessed with the state of Texas. Texas Tech is my home. I’m a Texas Tech fan, and I am so excited to see it do well.
Texas Tech is the largest school in the Lone Star State and is just getting started. It plays in the same conference as Texas A&M and Waco as well as Oklahoma and Missouri. The Tech team is the best in the country. They are ranked 1st in the state of Texas and have won the national championship in 2011. It’s also the home of our best basketball player, and I think it’s safe to say that I’m a huge Jayhawk fan.
Tech has been ranked 1st in the state of Texas and is the home of one of the best football players in the country, but it was a big blow to the football team when the school lost the national championship. It was shocking to hear that after the loss, Tech’s fans were shocked to find out that Jayhawk freshman quarterback Brandon Weeden had been drafted in the fourth round of the NFL draft.
So how is it that one of our greatest athletes went undrafted? I mean, its a shame. But its also a good thing because that means he will be the guy, not the other guy, who will be drafted. Jayhawk fans are still wondering how Jayhawk freshman quarterback Brandon Weeden got drafted in the fourth round of the NFL draft.
Well, in the NFL draft the third round is where the quarterbacks are selected. Once we see a player on the third round, scouts look at him and see how good he is and decide if he is worth a first round pick (or even a third round pick). The fourth round is where you get a lot more out of a player. Since there are certain positions that cost a lot of money, the fourth round is where the best players are picked.
I know, right? I mean, first round picks get the biggest contracts, and second round picks get the chance to come in and make a difference. The best players are usually drafted in the fourth round. But like anyone else can see, fourth round picks have some serious shortcomings. They are not always good enough to be a starter. In order to be a fourth round pick, you have to be a good enough player and not need to have the money.
If you go into the draft expecting to be a top quarterback, you’re probably going to be disappointed. So many third and fourth round quarterbacks were not really that good. I mean, some of them were really bad. If you really want to be a top quarterback, you have to be good enough and not need to have that much money.
Texas Tech quarterback J.T. Barrett has been playing and starting for the Red Raiders since the end of the 2007 season. He was the first player drafted after the 2006 draft. The last time a Tech player has started a game for the Red Raiders was a 2007 game against West Virginia. He went 10-for-19 for 134 yards, and threw three TDs and one interception. He has passed for over 4000 yards in his career.
This guy’s a great prospect. His play has been really great ever since he’s started playing. He’s the type of player who, if he had a year of eligibility, could be an NFL starter. He’s got the speed, the size, and everything else you look for and he’s a great prospect.
