In a football game, that might be more than just a minor setback. The injury to a sports player, a celebrity figure, or a person who’s simply famous (like you) is a very serious injury that can cause a host of different problems.
It’s actually pretty rare for a football player to be seriously injured. So the fact that our own NFL star, the infamous Michael Vick, could be in some kind of serious trouble is a pretty big deal. This story is actually a little bit worse than that, because the injury happened not on the field, but in the locker room. Apparently Vick was being interviewed for the show “The Man Show” and during the interview he was hit in the head by the door.
The video shows a white-gloved hand punching a door open and Vick getting knocked to the ground. Fortunately the door didn’t collapse or anything, but that’s not what really happened. The door was just opened unexpectedly. The show was filmed in the US, so Vick was actually on vacation in South America. The door is actually the door to a locker room, and there were multiple cameras set up to get the footage.
To make matters worse, Vick’s team didn’t even bother to call an ambulance. To add insult to injury, the TV station that filmed the show is also in South America filming a show with Vick, so he’ll be on the next episode of the show, and that’s just going to piss them off.
Vicks team was not notified, and it’s not as if they were about to risk hurting Vick to get him to safety. They were just hoping that his heart would stop at the end of this scene. In the US, that would probably mean he dies, but here, it seems like they might just keep him for a few days so he can be tested and not hurt any more. If Vicks can get out of this, maybe he can play in the NFL one day.
Now that Vick has died off the field, I wonder if his teammates are going to be able to find him, or if they’ll just have to deal with the consequences of the rest of the season.
Vicks is a very talented quarterback in the National Football League, and is a very good blocker, which means that with his heart not having stopped, this will be a very tough situation for his teammates to deal with. One thing they do have going for them, though, is a very strong team chemistry. They have a bunch of veterans who got to work with Vick on the field in the past, and they’re all very close.
That being said, I think theyve got a tough job on their hands, and they need to be ready for just about anything. One thing that I can’t quite put my finger on, is that there seem to be fewer and fewer instances of Vick getting hurt. A few weeks ago he was playing for his hometown team, the Redskins, and was injured in a game.
I don’t know about you, but I’d like to be in a situation where I can go out and play in any game I want to. It’s the thing I remember most from playing sports at school and for that matter from having worked for a while in the game industry. And I also know that it’s extremely difficult to perform well on the field in most sports, so it’d be a real shame to have to go down that road for a long time.
Thats actually a pretty good reason to keep playing, imo. You can always put your athletic career on hold for a little while and pick up a full-time job. You can get more work done in a few hours than you would be able to do in a whole week if you were just on the field for the team. You can get to know the city, the people, and the game a little bit better too. At least until you start thinking about the long term.
