I am a wvu tech baseball fan, and I have enjoyed my time watching MLB games. My favorite players of all time include the New York Yankees, the Boston Red Sox, and the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs have me pumped for the 2016 season, and I can’t wait to see how the team will fare in the World Series. As always, this show is written by a talented man named Jason Stoltz, but he also has a good track record when it comes to writing podcast reviews. In 2008, he hosted the podcast, The Baseball Podcast, and it was a huge success. Then, in 2010, he did a podcast review of the 2009 Major League Baseball season, and it was met with much critical acclaim. In 2013, he did a podcast review of the 2012 MLB season, and it was equally successful.
The MLB season for 2012 started out with a bang as we got to hear Ryan Braun, Josh Beckett, and Adam Dunn talk about their teams. Then, in the middle of the season, Beckett went on vacation and wasn’t in the office when we got to it. Then, during the middle of the 2013 season, he was out of town on a business trip. In the middle of the 2014 season, he went back to the office.
Well, I guess wvu tech baseball is the name of the podcast that Ryan Braun, Adam Dunn, and Josh Beckett did. I mean, that’s kind of a good title. I’m not sure if it was the best title. It certainly didn’t make the episodes as memorable as they should have been.
I was listening to the show last night when it went off the air, and in the middle of one of the episodes I thought, “Maybe the studio can do a special edition of the show?” So I checked the episodes out and they were all on the website already, so I figured I’d check out the episodes again. Well, it turns out that the shows were just episodes of a podcast, and they had never been released.
As a result, the episode you are listening to is now archived on the website.
I don’t doubt that this is a great thing to do. It is a good thing that people are finding out what is going on with the show and making their own discoveries. A few people have even asked me what the podcasts are called. Of course, I have no idea, or what the name of the show is, so I cannot tell you. But I can tell you that I am glad that they are no longer on YouTube, since I would not have seen those episodes.
And just like the news, it is all too true. Tech has been on the outs with the media and especially with the Internet. The fact is that the news is not the news, the stories are all too often written by journalists who are out of touch with the tech industry. They don’t know the ins and outs of the tech companies that produce things like your computer or smartphone.

This problem is especially severe in the tech world. Many tech-savvy people are so enthralled by the tech that they think that the news that they read is the news. And while we can agree that the news is not always the news, the news is not always the news. News is not news because it has been edited by journalists out of touch with the needs and desires of the tech industry. It’s true.
